Staging Consultation Process

Step 1 - Walkthrough of the home

Our first steps in the staging consultation starts with a walkthrough of the home. This step is very important because it allows us to view the home through the eyes of a potential buyer. This step will lay down the foundation for the design. We will propose ideas and changes as we move from room to room. The seller(s) are encourage to stick around in case we have questions along the way.

Step 2 - Identify the home’s target market

It is our belief that a home will inspire the design. We are happy to go with a design of our choice; however, by understanding the homes architecture and market trends we will be able to market your home to a much larger audience while complementing your home's personal design. We will also understand your home location and determine specific demographics, such as determining if it is a starter homes for young couples, a family home or a loft downtown for the urban jungle folks. 

Step 3 - A review of the home’s curb appeal

We can all agree that first impressions matter. So, start from the curve. Although it may be hard to update the landscaping and cometic improvements, we will be happy to give you our recommendations. Such recommendations may include: basic clean up, clearing of unwanted vegetation or waste. repairs and cosmetic improvements. Color suggestions for exterior, doors and trim. We recommended hiring a license professional for for these types of improvements.

Step 4 - review of rooms to be staged

The selected room will get an assessment of what should be done to make it more appealing to the target market. This can include things such as:

- Decluttering

- Repairs

- Painting

- Cleaning

- Furniture arrangement

- Décor
